Talkin’ Turkey and Veterans

Thanksgiving Day is right around the corner and will be here sooner than you may realize. With the coming of the holiday, this means that it is time to start planning your Thanksgiving Day meal. 580 soldiers here at Fort Hood don't have to worry though as they are being gifted meals from the Chaplain Corps, the Central Texas Food Bank, and Onion Creek Neighborhood. How (Holiday) Bazaar, How Bizarre

The Fort Hood Spouses' Club has a defining purpose of bringing together people here at Fort Hood to not only build a network of like-minded individuals, but to also advance the quality of life of military families and the surrounding community. The second half of their mission is what drives their fundraising. Twenty four people are either physically abused, raped or stalked every minute of every day, totaling 12,614,400 victims of domestic abuse annually, a crisis that domestic violence programs want to bring attention to for education and prevention.
